Ronald McDonald House Northern California and the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House offer families facing a medical crisis a place to rejuvenate and re-group away from the hospital. Our goal is to provide a safe haven of comfort and support so that your family is able to put 100% of your focus into your child’s recovery. From the moment you enter our doors, we want your family to be comfortable. But most importantly, we want to provide you the support you need so you can focus on the most important thing — your child’s healing.
If you need to stay at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House, please read the following information:
If you meet the above requirements, contact your child’s social worker/ case manager to submit a referral.
Once a referral is received, a Family Services Associate will call you to confirm and to ask a few follow up questions. Please keep in mind that room referrals are not guaranteed and a backup plan is advised. Once the referral is confirmed, you will be placed on our wait list until we can book you. Once we book the room, a Family Services Associate will contact you directly. If you do not need the room, please contact us as soon as possible so we can offer the room to another family from our wait list.
If your child is being treated at one of the five Sacramento-area hospitals above, but you do not meet all of our eligibility requirements, the Day Pass is for you! Our Day Pass program was created to offer our facility and amenities to families for the day. Please contact your hospital social worker to request a RMHCNC Day Pass.
